A centrifuge is most commonly designed to take in test tubes. Depending on the type of centrifuge, a centrifuge may take in blood, urine, fecal matter, and various other fluids. Centrifugal force can be used in these fluids to separate substances within them, allowing the doctor to properly exam the fluids and their substances.
