Welch Allyn strabismoscope head:
Welch Allyn’s Strabismoscope is used much like a regular occluder. However, unlike a regular occluder, this instrument provides the examiner with the advantage of seeing in, while the patient cannot see out! This simplifies the cover test, as the examiner can see what the covered eye is doing. The Welch Allyn 12400 Strabismoscope is ideal for teaching students or parents, most notably for visualizing dissociated vertical deviation. The Strabismoscope’s rugged ABS housing is designed to withstand drops & falls and it is compatible with all Welch Allyn 3.5v power handles.
